In 2023, WSSU and DCO completed the next phase of the PRIDE LIVES HERE branding campaign including 4 organizational logos and wall wrap.
Gleason-Hairston Terrace Wall Wrap: This dynamic design showcases a diverse array of Rams, each embodying a powerful testament to pride and legacy. Notable figures such as Stephen A. Smith, DJ Trellz, Chris Paul, and Brandi Hopson are featured, while the distinguished namesakes of the hall—Dr. Eliza Atkins Gleason, Rufus, and Mary Hairston—are prominently highlighted in the top right corner.
Organizational Logos: Housing & Residence Life is currently expanding internally, and as part of this growth, they aim to represent the overarching spirit of 'PRIDE LIVES HERE' through their organizational logos. RHA incorporates the Winston-Salem skyline within its letters. NATIONAL RESIDENCE HALL HONORARY places the WSSU clock tower front and center as a revered landmark. The RAM Standard offers a regal representation of the curriculum. NEXGEN, the newest living-learning community on campus, features the iconic archway that new Rams pass under at the commencement of their freshman year.

Happy First Day of Class Rams, thank you for choosing DCO Branding. In three months, we developed eight evergreen materials that evoke #RamPride in anticipation of Winston-Salem State University's Fall Move-In '22. "PRIDE LIVES HERE" was inspired by the environment and spirit #WSSU exudes. The saying has now been adopted as the department's mantra. When's the last time you've seen the Powerhouse of Red and White?
