From a large-scale legacy wall to wrapped elevator doors and a bold new front entrance sign, this upgrade celebrates the students who call this space home—and inspires them to look To New Heights. Initial drafts began in 2024, and the installation was completed this year, unplanned during the same week Chancellor Brown was officially installed!
Goal: Transform the physical environment into a bold, welcoming, and mission-aligned space that reflects student pride and purpose.
Deliverables
Large Wall Collage: A custom-designed visual wall showcasing WSSU’s landscape, student staff, campus leadership and 'elevation' symbolism— built to inspire.
Front Entrance Sign: A newly designed sign welcoming students and visitors with clear, bold messaging and elevated visibility.
Elevator Door Wraps: Branded, bold visuals installed at the elevator entry points, allowing students to have a unique and soft visual coming and out.
I wish one person could do this, but it's far from the truth. The RAMs before us shaped this, the creative team producing the work, and the students whom we serve and create for. RAMS old and young will continue to look at our work long after we're gone. Thank you Taylor Walker and the WSSU Student Affairs team for entrusting me with the design and for being an amazing creative partner. There are only more heights to go! 🥳
Previous Work
2025's move-in theme, GO HERE, GROW HERE, was inspired by student submissions and designed to reflect WSSU’s diversity and legacy. Our partnership has expanded into Student Affairs, bringing collaborative input from across campus. Current projects set for installation before homecoming:
A RAMCADE recreation space facelift with a large-format wrap and trim
A Student Leadership U-LOUNGE wrap inspiring campus leaders
Residence Life upgrades with a window wrap and mission strip
